Oh, getting off the topics of sex and other bodily functions for a while... if you want to set a static IP on your Windows box and you're logged in as a non-Administrator user, use administer.bat and type:
C:\WINNT\system32>netsh interface ip set address local static 10.0.0.45 255.0.0.0 10.0.0.138 1
C:\WINNT\system32>netsh interface ip set dns local static 200.33.146.194
Of course, use the correct values for your system IP, netmask, router, and DNS, unless you're at KeepInTouch in el Centro del D.F., in which case those values might work! Now, I don't know yet how to set it back to DHCP for when I get back to Kinko's-land...
