tried something else with the rest of the roasted palo verde beans: ground them up and made "coffee" out of them. nutty and delicious. no substitute for coffee, of course, lacking caffeine or the equivalent, but makes a nice afternoon drink and might work 50-50 with coffee beans for a flavor-enhanced, low-caf morning brew.
