total spent on travel so far, in case I forget to blog it elsewhere: $2.50 Megabus ticket plus $1.75 NCTD route 395 for grand total of $4.25. can't remember how much my airfare was but I'm thinking somewhere around USD$60. this will be by far the cheapest trip south I've made so far, at $65, unless I fail to walk to the border in time, in which case it could be $5 more.
