I'd tried cold-brew camp coffee before, but it never worked. these last couple times it did, I don't know what I'm doing differently. maybe just letting it sit longer.
grind the coffee the previous afternoon, into your coffee mug. fill with water. stir. leave it overnight.
in the morning you'll have very tasty, non-bitter coffee ready to drink. there's an ugly brown scum on top but doesn't have any noticeable grounds. good enough for me! saves me the trouble of getting the stick stove going in the morning. that thing can be a bear to light sometimes.
