so, in the past 72 hours, I've won two properties on eBay: one small (about 1/8 acre) lot near Nice in Lake County, CA (7575 Main Street), and another near Murdock Mountain in Nevada, which on the Elko County assessor's map is on an extension of Joshua Street, but on Google Maps is Wescott Road. I have a neighbor in the 2nd 10-acre lot to the west, and another in the 10 acres two to the east and one south (bounded by Joshua St. and Aspen Dr., or on Google, Wescott Rd. and Stagecoach Rd).
I imagine my neighbors will be real characters, living way out there in the boonies. I should fit right in!
