Say what you will about Starbucks -- the overcommercialization, bad coffee, lack of local flavor, whatever -- it's a place where you can fairly reliably power your laptop and sit there for hours with nobody hassling you. And have a clean restroom available. And often, in a big city, find an open wifi AP within reach. So far, I haven't found anything better here in Boston. The free municipal wifi is only in certain areas I guess.
